Display RFEM loads in Rhino with Grasshopper
What it does:
This Grasshopper script imports an RFEM model, then groups and previews surface loads. The whole process is automatic. The script is very useful in cases when there are several load cases with different load intensities, or when the model consists of many surfaces, in which case it is very easy to miss some of the surfaces.
The only input necessary is to click a button which will import the data from RFEM. Several other output options are available, which will allow flipping the structure in case the Z-axis is upwards. Also, visibility of the members is possible to be on and off.
The script works with several load types:
- Surface Loads
- Free Polygon Loads
- Free Rectangular Loads
The plugins needed for the script are:
- Parametric FEM Toolbox (Plugin for Importing and Exporting RFEM data)
- Human
Possible bug fixes of the script will be available for the current customers without any additional charge.
The script works with RFEM 5 and Rhino 7. Upon request, the script can be adjusted to work with RFEM 6 as well. If any issues are faced, feel free to contact me at drilonshabani@gmail.com!
Important:
- The file is for private use only and it is strictly forbidden to share online or with other people.
- If the script is used by more users, the appropriate amount should be ordered.
- Any modification due to any possible bug is included in the price and will be sent to the customer.
- Refunds are not possible for any of the digital format products.
